With a career spanning over two decades of fundraising in service of arts organizations across disciplines, Kathy Lindenmayer comes to Memphis Music Initiative from SMU DataArts, the national clearinghouse for arts and culture data collection and research. Her previous positions include Director of Development and Membership at Grantmakers in the Arts, where during her tenure annual contributed income grew by over 50%.

Deeply committed to developing equitable and sustainable arts and cultural organizations of all types and sizes, Kathy has served on the board of Spectrum Dance Theater and provided consulting to a wide range of organizations including One Reel and Jack Straw Cultural Center in Seattle, and the Cameron Art Museum and Support the Port in Wilmington, NC. In her spare time, Kathy organizes visual arts and music events including Carolina Pines Fest and the annual Seattle Rock Lottery, benefiting arts and music education organizations.
