Program Manager, MMI Works
Brandy Casséus is a Memphis native who deeply cares about developing young professionals who can effectively lead, collaborate, and create. Her career in education began in urban classrooms as a teaching assistant and after-school counselor, where she discovered the joy and fulfillment of serving young people. After working as a program coordinator for a federal grant program focused on helping low-income students reach college, she moved to working directly in schools as a behavior specialist and social-emotional learning teacher. She joined MMI after writing curriculum for the MMI Works’ Summer Program and is excited to combine her calling in education with her passion for music. An artist herself, she is also actively involved in the local creative community as a performing poet and rap lyricist.
